Bathed by the sun from morning to night, the rifugio has a sun terrace and large windows for an extraordinary view of the Marmolada.
When you enter the rifugio you can still hear the echoes of history, as well as smell the appetising aromas of the local dishes that are particularly irresistible in the light, crisp, mountain air. A steaming plate of polenta and melted cheese, venison and mushrooms, Knödel dumplings, soup of the day, good wine and don’t miss out on the delicious apple strudel, strictly homemade. Snacks, desserts and, as always, the grappas with mountain herbs such as gentian and mountain pine.
